At PlayerPass ("we", "us", "our"), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal data of our athletes. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit or subscribe to our website and custom athlete profiles.

2. Information We Collect

We collect several types of information from and about our users, including:

• Profile & Bio Data: First name, last name, high school or club name, graduation year, athletic biography, statistics, height, weight, and GPA.
• Media Content: Action/profile pictures, sport showcase backgrounds, and URLs to external video highlights (e.g., Hudl, YouTube, Vimeo).
• Contact & Social Info: Email address, social media handles (Twitter/X, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok).
• Usage & Analytic Data: Information about page visits on individual athlete portfolios, browser types, and device configurations.

**Payment Information:** When you purchase a subscription, all credit card transactions are handled securely by **Stripe**. We do not collect, process, or store your credit card or financial details on our servers. Stripe processes all payments in compliance with standard Payment Card Industry (PCI-DSS) security standards.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• To compile, design, and host your customized digital player pass profile.
• To make your athletic profile accessible via a public web link so that college coaches, scouts, and the general public can view your highlight videos and stats.
• To manage payments, billing history, and renewals securely via Stripe.
• To contact you with updates, security notifications, customer support, or changes to the platform.
• To optimize page loading times and analyze traffic metrics for profile pages.

4. Public Nature of Profiles

**IMPORTANT:** By design, PlayerPass athlete portfolios and sports pages are public websites.

The primary goal of our Service is to showcase your athletic credentials to the college recruiting community. Any information you share in your profile build (such as high school name, athletic stats, photos, highlights, and contact email) will be publicly searchable and accessible to anyone visiting your unique link. Please do not submit sensitive personal information (such as home address, phone numbers, or private tax identifiers) that you do not want coaches or the general public to see.

5. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) Compliance

PlayerPass complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Many of our users are high school student-athletes under 18 years of age.

We do not intentionally or knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13. If an athlete is under 13, their account, profile data, and subscription must be set up, managed, and approved directly by their parent or legal guardian.

If we discover that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we will delete that data immediately. If you believe we might have any data from a child under 13 without authorization, please contact us immediately.

6. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We only share information with trusted third-party service providers (like Stripe for billing and Vercel for site hosting) who support our operations and agree to protect your data confidentiality.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard administrative, physical, and digital security measures to safeguard your information from unauthorized access, modification, or disclosure. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights & Choice

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your profile data. You can request changes or profile deletion at any time by contacting our support team.
